Instead, the plan backfires and Jason is sent on the run of his life from one breathtaking escape to another. Not only must he outrun the cold blooded assassins, but he also must save the life of a Chinese girl, all without the help of the government who betrays him. While running for his life and protecting the girl, Jason must pursue the Dragon Lady, head of the Triads.
The heart-thumping action never seems to stop in book two of the popular Jason Steed series by Mark A. Cooper, much to the delight of boy who likes books with more shooting. However, the age of main character seems young for the violence and romance he experiences in Revenge:Jason Steed and would be better suited for a teenage audience. Some senseless deaths leave lingering questions and feelings of unease. Good for the upper middle grade and young adult reader who love James Bond types of action adventures and guns. Will also appeal to video gamers with the non-stop action.
